opportunities lurk
for the devil to bring in doubt

disarming any faith and hope
that one may trust to bear
the word of God has been ignored
no strength to fight or care

the battles fought within your mind
determine how you’ll go
in victory or defeat in sin
as lust begins to grow

temptations cease when you resist
the devil he must flee
submit yourself unto your God
transform your mind believe

and lust shall die confession wins
the blood shall cleanse anew
no devil has the right to claim
his power over you
